About FreshTomato

FreshTomato is a Linux-based firmware replacement project for home and SOHO routers, based on Linux and distributed on the GPL license. FreshTomato releases currently only support Broadcom-based systems, containing MIPS or ARM chipsets. Please refer to the Hardware Compatibility page for specific details.

This advanced system consists of a particularly friendly interface, to which even inexperienced users can easily work with it.

Tomato was originally written by Jonathan Zarate and has been developed throughout the years by the open source community. FreshTomato is currently the most up-to-date fork of FreshTomato and has about 4 to 5 new releases a year.
