This is the same hardware as the above modem. However, this model has problems with some sites (~30%) due to a bug in the Broadcom driver. Huawei E398 Various 12d1:1446 12d1:1506 Serial and QMI Some versions of this have 1 antenna jack, and some have 2 jacks. In general this dongle works well, but sometimes the driver crashes because FreshTomato has problems with the qmi_wwan module.

ZTE MF923 AT&T LTE LTE 2/4/5/17/294G HSPA+ 850/1900/2100 MHz3G UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz This mobile hotspot was tested as working when connected to the USB port of a Netgear WNDR3400v1.The Micro USB port of this device receives power input from the router, so the hotspot can be powered that way. Caution is advised, as not all routers are designed to output adequate USB power for a device such as this. Overheating might be possible.
