This page is divided in two sections, the APC UPS Status table and APC UPS Response strings. UPS monitoring is only available for APC uninterruptible power supplies with USB connection which are compatible with APC’s smart protocol library package. Please note the UPS Monitor library is included by default just in Mega-VPN and AIO builds.

In order to be able to have a successful connection, please first enable USB 1.1 support (OHCI) and Run APCUPSD Deamon on USB Support configuration page.

The table shows UPS model name, status, charge level, line voltage, load, estimated run time.

The list of strings has all the information retrieved from UPS.

This information is the same as in other tools (e.g. apcupsd utility daemon for controlling APC UPSes on a local network windows machine, http://www.apcupsd.org/)
